So... AI art is a thing now

AI art has recently surfaced and become popular mainly amongst the anime community since someone won an art contest using AI generated art, and people spamming the service and making it more available to everyone thus marking the beginning of the end for regular artist, right?

Yeah, but not really. You see AI art is really good at making decent enough art but it can’t really get to the level of the higher end artists; and as it is using existing art to output a result (even if regular artists kinda do the same but not really) it has no creativity which means that art will be a profession still, but it won´t be that easy anymore, lower end fast style artists will have a lot of market taken and regular high pay grade art like furry and oshi art won’t be profitable anymore as it can be done through AI but OC art physical art and traditional art are safe spaces for normal artists… for now.
