So vtubers are a big thing nowadays if you're into livestreaming and they propose something very weird and interesting when it comes to self image and the self steem of actually looking how you want to look, when we look at main hololive girls this concept doesn't really show as they were idols before and they're used in a way to the atention but when we look at someone like ironmouse we find that she's so mentally happy and strong because she's wearing that 2D suit and it really helps her as she basically ignores the fact that maybe she's not good looking or sick and can just have fun and be normal

Other great example is porcelain maid, a guy that went by foxyjoel before decided that he wanted to look like a girl so he just went and invented a whole lore about how he ended up in a girl's body yet he has a male voice, that is one of the coolest yet nerdiest ways posible to change yet it really just works as he has found a niche on the livestreaming market too.

in general livestreaming and the entertainment industry is made by authenticity on it's actors and vtubing even if it may be seen as a way of disguising your identity it actually only helps to become more authentic and unhinged without worrying about how you look or act and I think there's a very important lesson to lear for IRL from this comunity.
